Terms of Service
By creating an account or using the System: Arise application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use System: Arise. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to log only genuine accomplishments.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Fair Play & Anti-Cheat
The App ranks real-world effort. Fabricating accomplishments, submitting false proof, automating logs, or otherwise manipulating XP, ranks, quests, or the leaderboard is prohibited. We employ velocity limits, community verification, and fraud detection ("shadow realm"), and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate fair-play rules.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the text and images you submit. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the App's features (e.g. AI evaluation and community verification). You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must not upload anything unlawful, offensive, or infringing.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Premium features are available via subscription, billed through Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account. Refunds follow Google Play policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorised access to the App or its backend, nor to use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
